Our facility includes a custom-built 60-MW load bank and two complete control systems, which enable full testing of PE6000, LM6000PC, and LM6000PD engines. This exclusive setup enables complete performance checks for output, heat rate, and vibration.

Evolving Aero Engines for a Low-Carbon Economy
More than a proving ground for overhauled and repaired aeroderivative turbines, our string-test facility is also the centerpiece of our R&D initiative. We aim to commercialize hydrogen use for these engines starting with a 35-percent mix and scaling up to 100-percent clean fuel.
