Investing in Tomorrow

Since 2019, we have made a significant R&D investment into advancing hydrogen-combustion with the LM6000 platform. Approximately $12.3 million and 10,000 engineering hours went into the development of proprietary hydrogen mixing technology and a test facility decoupled from the grid.

Proving Ground for Progress

A unique, plant-level facility that mirrors real-world operating conditions while free from the grid, our string-test facility is the centerpiece of our decarbonization R&D program. It enables testing of LM6000 PC and PD engines before shipping to customers, as well as assessing the limits of hydrogen fuel mixes.

Path to 100% Clean Power
As part of a consortium, PROENERGY seeks to raise the hydrogen fuel threshold above 35 percent and drive its use in commercial-scale power generation. In 2023, our company created a detailed combustion model to inform the equipment modifications needed for 100 percent hydrogen operations.
