PROENERGY Awarded AeroAdvantage Project by Prairie Power
SEDALIA, MO (June 18, 2021) – PROENERGY announced that it was selected by Prairie Power and successfully executed unplanned maintenance for an LM6000 at their Alsey facility in Alsey, Illinois. PROENERGY transported the Unit 6 LM6000 to their Independent Level IV Aero Depot in Sedalia, Missouri for a Major Repair.
Prairie Power, Inc. is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric generation and transmission cooperative. Prairie Power, Inc. produces and supplies wholesale electricity to 10 electric distribution cooperatives in central Illinois.
PROENERGY was ready and equipped to handle Prairie Power’s unplanned maintenance to find the root cause of their LM6000 problems. “Our Field Services team meticulously tore the engine down to each module exploring the extent of necessary maintenance and repaired Prairie Power’s engine to as-new condition,” said PROENERGY Senior Vice President AeroAdvantage, John Stevens.
